For the time being, Strange Elf Press consists of only one dude with a dream to publish what nobody else is publishing—genre-bending horror, dark fantasy, sci-fi horror, and anything in between. The harder to classify, the better. We—well, I guess I—want to find a modern H. P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, and Algernon Blackwood; I want writers who are as bold as Thomas Ligotti; I want fresh, thought-provoking, poetic, ambitious works that agents and other indie presses wouldn’t dare touch with a ten-foot pole. Eventually I'll be seeking to publish novellas and novels (70,000 through 300,000 words), but for now my main focus is my short story anthology, ANTERIOR SKIES. For more information of ANTERIOR SKIES, click on the tab.

UPDATE: The submission deadline is/was January 1st, 2023 (somehow this info hadn't been translated over to the website, so my apologies), and Volume One is set to release in June of 2023.
